Is Z-Anki free?
Yes. Studying, syncing, importing and every feature are free. AI card creation uses your own Anthropic API key, which Anthropic bills you for directly.
Will my Anki decks work?
Yes. Import .apkg files in Settings. Cards, images, audio, tags and review intervals come across. Custom card layouts are simplified to front and back.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Once opened, Z-Anki keeps working without internet. Your reviews sync the next time you're online.
Where are my cards stored?
On your device, and in your private cloud account if you sign in. Only you can read your cards.
Does my Anki remote work?
Yes. Z-Anki uses Anki's default keys, and page turners and presentation clickers work too: next shows the answer, back marks Again.
Is Z-Anki made by Anki?
No. Z-Anki is an independent app inspired by Anki's method. Anki is a trademark of its owners.
